Steak

Method

Steak

  1. 1

    Prepare the Steak

Take the ribeye steaks out of the refrigerator and let them sit at room temperature for about 30 minutes. This helps in even cooking.

  2. 2

    Season the Steak

Rub the steaks with olive oil, minced garlic, salt, and black pepper. Place the fresh rosemary sprigs on top of the steaks.

  3. 3

    Grill the Steak

Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Once hot, place the steaks on the grill and cook for 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare doneness. Adjust the time based on your preferred doneness.

  4. 4

    Rest the Steak

Remove the steaks from the grill and let them rest for 5 minutes before slicing. This allows the juices to redistribute.

Fries

  1. 5

    Prepare the Potatoes

Peel the russet potatoes and cut them into thin strips, resembling fries.

  2. 6

    Heat the Oil

In a large pot or deep fryer, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat until it reaches 350°F (175°C).

  3. 7

    Fry the Potatoes

Carefully add a batch of the potato strips to the hot oil. Fry for about 4-5 minutes until golden brown and crispy. Remove with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels. Sprinkle with salt.

  4. 8

    Repeat

Continue frying the remaining potato strips in batches, ensuring the oil temperature remains consistent.

Salad

  1. 9

    Prepare the Salad

In a large bowl, combine the mixed salad greens, halved cherry tomatoes, and sliced cucumber.

  2. 10

    Dress the Salad

In a small bowl, whisk together the olive oil, balsamic vinegar, salt, and black pepper. Pour the dressing over the salad and toss gently to combine.
