Method
Steak Cooking
- 1
Prepare the Steak
Take the ribeye steaks out of the refrigerator and let them sit at room temperature for about 30 minutes. This ensures more even cooking.
- 2
Season the Steaks
Rub the steaks with olive oil, then season generously with salt and black pepper on both sides.
- 3
Heat the Pan
In a large skillet, heat over medium-high heat. Add the olive oil and let it heat until shimmering.
- 4
Cook the Steaks
Once the pan is hot, add the seasoned ribeye steaks. For medium-rare, cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side, adjusting time for desired doneness.

- 6
Rest the Steaks
Remove the steaks from the pan and let them rest for 5-10 minutes before slicing.
