Method

Patty Preparation

  1. 1

    Mix Ingredients

In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Mix gently until just combined.

  2. 2

    Shape Patties

Divide the mixture into two equal portions and shape each portion into a patty, about ¾ inch thick.

  3. 3

    Cook Patties

Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired doneness.

Toppings Preparation

  1. 4

    Prepare Vegetables

Wash and dry the lettuce leaves. Slice the tomato into thick slices.

  2. 5

    Add Cheese

In the last minute of cooking the patties, place a slice of cheddar cheese on each patty and cover until melted.

House Sauce Preparation

  1. 6

    Combine Sauce Ingredients

In a small bowl, mix together mayonnaise, ketchup, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, and garlic powder until well combined.

Assembling the Burger

  1. 7

    Toast the Buns

Lightly toast the burger buns on the grill or in a toaster until golden brown.

  2. 8

    Build the Burger

Spread a generous amount of house sauce on the bottom bun. Place the cooked patty with melted cheese on top, followed by lettuce and tomato slices. Top with the other half of the bun.

  3. 9

    Serve

Serve immediately with your favorite side dishes like fries or a salad.
