Mix Ingredients
In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Mix gently until just combined.

Shape Patties
Divide the mixture into two equal portions and shape each portion into a patty, about ¾ inch thick.

Prepare Vegetables
Wash and dry the lettuce leaves. Slice the tomato into thick slices.

In the last minute of cooking the patties, place a slice of cheddar cheese on each patty and cover until melted.
House Sauce Preparation

Combine Sauce Ingredients
In a small bowl, mix together mayonnaise, ketchup, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, and garlic powder until well combined.
Assembling the Burger

Toast the Buns
Lightly toast the burger buns on the grill or in a toaster until golden brown.

Build the Burger
Spread a generous amount of house sauce on the bottom bun. Place the cooked patty with melted cheese on top, followed by lettuce and tomato slices. Top with the other half of the bun.
