Preparation
- 1
Cook the Chicken
Season the chicken breasts with salt and black pepper. Heat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat. Grill the chicken for about 6-7 minutes on each side or until fully cooked. Remove from heat and let rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
- 2
Cook the Pasta
In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add the fettuccine pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente, usually about 8-10 minutes. Drain and set aside.
Making the Alfredo Sauce
- 3
Prepare the Sauce
In a large skillet over medium heat, melt the butter. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant, being careful not to burn it.
- 4
Add Cream and Cheese
Slowly pour in the heavy cream while stirring. Bring to a gentle simmer and then gradually add the grated Parmesan cheese, stirring continuously until the cheese is melted and the sauce is creamy. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
Combining Ingredients
- 5
Combine Pasta and Sauce
Add the cooked fettuccine pasta to the Alfredo sauce, tossing to coat the pasta evenly in the sauce.
- 6
Add Chicken
Slice the grilled chicken breasts and place them on top of the pasta. Toss gently to combine.
- 7
Garnish and Serve
Garnish the dish with chopped parsley before serving. Enjoy your Chicken Alfredo hot!
