Method
Burger Directions
- 1
Prepare the Patty Mixture
In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, salt, black pepper, and garlic powder. Mix gently until just combined.
- 2
Form the Patties
Divide the mixture into two equal portions and shape them into patties. Make a slight indentation in the center of each patty to prevent them from puffing up while cooking.
- 3
- 4
Add Cheese and Finish Cooking
Flip the patties and place a slice of cheddar cheese on each. Cook for another 4-5 minutes or until the cheese has melted and the burgers are cooked to desired doneness.
- 5
- 6
Assemble the Burger
Assemble the burgers by placing a lettuce leaf on the bottom bun, followed by the cooked patty with cheese, bacon slices, tomato slice, and pickles. Top with the other half of the bun.
Fries Directions
- 7
Prepare the Potatoes
Peel the potatoes and cut them into thin strips to make fries.
- 8
Heat the Oil
Heat the vegetable oil in a deep fryer or heavy-bottomed pot to 350°F (175°C).
- 9
Fry the Potatoes
Carefully add the potato strips to the hot oil, working in batches if necessary to avoid overcrowding. Fry for 4-5 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
- 10
Drain and Season the Fries
Using a slotted spoon, remove the fries from the oil and drain on paper towels. Sprinkle with salt to taste.
