For the Chicken Fingers

Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Cut the Chicken

Slice the boneless, skinless chicken breasts into finger-sized strips, about 1 inch wide.

  2. 2

    Set up Breading Stations

In three separate shallow bowls, place the all-purpose flour (seasoned with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and paprika), beaten eggs, and breadcrumbs.

Breading the Chicken

  1. 3

    Coat the Chicken

Dredge each chicken strip in the flour mixture, shaking off any excess. Then dip it in the beaten eggs, allowing excess to drip off, and finally coat it in the breadcrumbs, pressing gently to adhere.

Cooking

  1. 4

    Heat the Oil

In a large skillet, heat the oil over medium-high heat until shimmering, about 5-7 minutes.

  2. 5

    Fry the Chicken Fingers

Carefully add the breaded chicken strips to the hot oil, in batches if necessary, and fry for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until golden brown and cooked through.

  3. 6

    Drain and Serve

Remove the chicken fingers from the skillet and place them on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil before serving. Enjoy with your favorite dipping sauces.
