Method

Chicken Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare Chicken

Begin by seasoning the chicken breasts with salt, black pepper, and garlic powder on both sides.

  2. 2

    Bread the Chicken

Set up a breading station: Place flour in a shallow dish, beat the eggs in another dish, and put breadcrumbs in a third dish. Dredge each chicken breast first in the flour, shaking off excess, then dip in the egg, and finally coat with breadcrumbs.

  3. 3

    Heat Oil

In a large skillet, heat the oil over medium-high heat until shimmering.

  4. 4

    Fry Chicken

Carefully place the breaded chicken breasts in the hot oil and fry for about 5-7 minutes per side, or until golden brown and cooked through. Remove from the oil and let drain on paper towels.

Buffalo Sauce

  1. 5

    Toss Chicken in Sauce

In a mixing bowl, toss the fried chicken breasts with the buffalo sauce until well coated.

Assemble Sandwich

  1. 6

    Prepare Toppings

Lettuce should be washed and shredded, and the tomato should be sliced.

  2. 7

    Melt Cheese

Place the buffalo chicken on a baking sheet. Top each piece with a slice of Swiss cheese and place under the broiler for about 1-2 minutes or until the cheese is melted.

  3. 8

    Build the Sandwich

On the bottom half of each burger bun, layer the shredded lettuce, followed by the buffalo chicken with melted cheese, and then add the tomato slice. Top with the other half of the bun.
