Noodles & Toppings

Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Cook the Noodles

Bring a pot of salted water to a boil. Add the wheat noodles and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and rinse under cold water to stop cooking. Set aside.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Tofu

In a skillet, heat sesame oil over medium heat. Add the cubed tofu and sauté until golden brown on all sides. Remove from heat and let it cool.

  3. 3

    Char the Snap Peas

In the same skillet, add snap peas and char them for about 2-3 minutes until they are slightly blistered. Remove from heat.

  4. 4

    Assemble the Dish

In a large bowl, combine the cooked noodles, sautéed tofu, charred snap peas, grated ginger, and bluefin tataki. Drizzle with soy sauce and toss gently to combine.

  5. 5

    Garnish

Serve the noodles cold, topped with furikake seasoning and the soy eggs cut in half.
