Method

Soft Serve Preparation

1

Make the Soft Serve Base

In a mixing bowl, whisk together heavy cream, whole milk, honey, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt until well combined. Pour the mixture into an ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer’s instructions until it reaches a soft-serve consistency. Transfer to a container and freeze for at least 2 hours.

Chocolate Shell Preparation

2

Prepare the Chocolate Shell

In a microwave-safe bowl, combine dark chocolate chips and coconut oil. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until melted and smooth. Let cool slightly before using.

Honeycomb Preparation

3

Make the Honeycomb

In a saucepan over medium heat, combine granulated sugar and honey. Stir until the sugar dissolves. Allow to boil without stirring until it reaches a golden amber color. Remove from heat and quickly stir in baking soda. The mixture will bubble up. Pour onto a parchment-lined baking sheet and let cool completely before breaking into pieces.

Assembly

4

Serve the Honey Soft Serve

Scoop the soft serve into bowls or cones. Drizzle with the melted chocolate shell and top with pieces of honeycomb. Serve immediately.
