Preparation Steps

1

Prepare the Lobster

If using fresh lobster, steam or boil the lobster until fully cooked. Allow it to cool, then remove the meat from the claws and knuckles, and chop it into bite-sized pieces.

2

Mix the Cheese Filling

In a bowl, combine the shredded cheddar and Swiss cheese with the chopped lobster meat. Season with garlic powder, salt, and pepper to taste. Mix well.

3

Butter the Bread

Spread 1 tablespoon of unsalted butter on one side of each slice of bread.

4

Assemble the Sandwich

On the unbuttered side of two slices of bread, evenly distribute the lobster and cheese mixture. Top with the remaining slices of bread, buttered side facing out.

5

Grill the Sandwich

Heat a skillet or griddle over medium heat. Place the sandwiches in the skillet and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until the bread is golden brown and the cheese is melted.

6

Serve

Once grilled to perfection, remove from heat, slice in half, and serve immediately. Enjoy your luxurious lobster grilled cheese!
