Fish

Creamy Chipotle Sauce

Method

Prepare the Fish

  1. 1

    Marinate the Fish

In a bowl, combine olive oil, lime juice, garlic powder, cumin, salt, and black pepper. Add the fish fillets and coat them evenly. Let it marinate for at least 15 minutes.

  2. 2

    Cook the Fish

Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the fish for about 3-4 minutes on each side until cooked through and flaky. Remove from heat and flake the fish into bite-sized pieces.

Prepare the Creamy Chipotle Sauce

  1. 3

    Mix the Sauce

In a small bowl, mix together sour cream, chipotle peppers in adobo sauce, lime juice, garlic powder, and salt. Adjust seasoning to taste. Set aside.

Assemble the Tacos

  1. 4

    Warm the Tortillas

Heat the corn tortillas on the grill or in a skillet for about 30 seconds on each side until warm.

  2. 5

    Build the Tacos

To assemble, place a generous amount of shredded iceberg lettuce on each tortilla, followed by the flaked fish. Top with pico de gallo, a drizzle of creamy chipotle sauce, and a sprinkle of queso fresco.

  3. 6

    Serve

Serve immediately with lime wedges on the side for extra flavor.
