Salad Base

Method

Salad Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Romaine Lettuce

Wash the Romaine lettuce thoroughly under cold running water. Remove any damaged outer leaves. Pat dry with a clean kitchen towel or use a salad spinner to remove excess water.

  2. 2

    Chop the Lettuce

Using a sharp knife, chop the Romaine lettuce into bite-sized pieces and place them in a large salad bowl.

Dressing Preparation

  1. 3

    Make the Caesar Dressing

In a mixing bowl, combine the mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, minced garlic, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and black pepper. Whisk together until smooth and well blended.

Assembly

  1. 4

    Combine Ingredients

Pour the prepared Caesar dressing over the chopped Romaine lettuce in the salad bowl. Toss gently to ensure the lettuce is evenly coated with the dressing.

  2. 5

    Add Parmesan Cheese

Sprinkle the grated parmesan cheese over the dressed salad. Toss again lightly to incorporate the cheese throughout the salad.

Serve

  1. 6

    Serve the Salad

Divide the Caesar salad into small or regular servings as desired. Enjoy immediately for the best flavor and texture.
