Salad Preparation

Wash the Romaine lettuce thoroughly under cold running water. Remove any damaged outer leaves. Pat dry with a clean kitchen towel or use a salad spinner to remove excess water.

Using a sharp knife, chop the Romaine lettuce into bite-sized pieces and place them in a large salad bowl.
