Prepare the Ingredients
Gather all the ingredients including pit ham, cheddar cheese, bell peppers, pico de gallo, and seasoning ingredients.

Dice the Peppers
Using a sharp knife, dice the red and green bell peppers into small pieces and set aside.

Shred the Cheese
If not using pre-shredded cheese, shred the cheddar cheese using a grater.

Sauté the Peppers
In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the diced bell peppers and sauté for about 3-4 minutes or until they are soft.

Combine Ingredients
Add pit ham to the skillet with the sautéed bell peppers. Stir to combine and heat through for about 2-3 minutes.

Sprinkle salt, black pepper, and garlic powder over the mixture. Stir well to ensure even distribution of the seasoning.

Melt the Cheese
Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese over the ham and pepper mixture. Cover the skillet with a lid and let it cook for an additional 2-3 minutes or until the cheese is melted.
