Method
Burger Patty
- 1
Prepare the Burger Patty
In a bowl, combine the ground beef with salt and black pepper. Mix gently to avoid overworking the meat.
- 2
Form the Patties
Divide the mixture into two equal portions and shape each portion into a patty about 1 inch thick. Make a small indent in the center of each patty to prevent it from puffing up while cooking.
- 3
Garlic Aioli
- 4
Prepare the Aioli
In a mixing bowl, combine mayonnaise, minced garlic, lemon juice, salt, and black pepper. Stir until well combined.
- 5
Chill the Aioli
Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate the aioli for at least 30 minutes to let the flavors meld.
Assembling the Burger
- 6
Toast the Burger Buns
Lightly toast the burger buns on the grill or in a toaster until golden brown.
- 7
Assemble the Burger
Spread a generous amount of garlic aioli on the bottom half of each toasted bun. Place the cooked patty on top, followed by optional toppings such as lettuce, tomato, cheese, and pickles. Top with the other half of the bun.
Preparing the Side
- 8
Choose and Prepare Your Side
Select one of the sides (French fries, coleslaw, or onion rings) and prepare it according to your preference or package instructions.
