Preparation

  1. 1

    Muddle the Mint

In a sturdy glass, add the fresh mint leaves and granulated sugar. Using a muddler or the back of a spoon, gently press the mint leaves to release their oils. Be careful not to shred the leaves too much.

  2. 2

    Add Lime Juice

Cut the lime in half and squeeze the juice from one half into the glass with the muddled mint and sugar. Reserve the other half for garnish. Stir the mixture gently to combine the flavors.

  3. 3

    Pour in the Rum

Add the white rum to the glass. Stir gently to mix with the muddled mint, sugar, and lime juice.

  4. 4

    Add Ice

Fill the glass with ice cubes to the top. This will chill the cocktail and keep it refreshing.

  5. 5

    Top with Club Soda

Pour the club soda over the ice until the glass is full. This will give your mojito its refreshing fizz.

Garnishing

  1. 6

    Garnish the Cocktail

Take the reserved lime half and cut it into a wedge. Place the lime wedge on the rim of the glass. Add a sprig of mint on top for an aromatic touch.

  2. 7

    Serve

Serve your mojito immediately with a straw or a stirrer, and enjoy the refreshing mint and lime flavors!
