Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Ingredients

Chop the mushrooms, ham, and bacon into small pieces. Grate the cheddar cheese if not pre-grated.

  2. 2

    Cook the Bacon

In a medium skillet, cook the bacon over medium heat until crispy. Remove from the skillet and drain on paper towels.

  3. 3

    Sauté the Vegetables

In the same skillet, using the bacon grease, add the chopped mushrooms and sauté until soft, about 5 minutes.

Cooking

  1. 4

    Beat the Eggs

In a bowl, crack the eggs and whisk them together with salt and black pepper until fully combined.

  2. 5

    Combine Ingredients

Add the sautéed mushrooms, cooked bacon, and ham to the beaten eggs and mix well.

  3. 6

    Cook the Omelet

Heat olive oil in the skillet over medium heat. Pour the egg mixture into the skillet, tilting the skillet to spread evenly. Cook for about 3-4 minutes or until the edges start to set.

  4. 7

    Add Cheese

Sprinkle the grated cheddar cheese on top of the omelet. Cover the skillet with a lid and allow the cheese to melt for an additional 2 minutes.

  5. 8

    Fold and Serve

Once the cheese is melted and the omelet is fully cooked, carefully fold it in half. Slide it onto a plate and serve immediately.
