Cooking Essentials

Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Meats

Choose your preferred meats from the list. If using bacon, cut it into smaller pieces if desired. For sausage, slice it into rounds or leave it whole.

  2. 2

    Whisk the Eggs

In a bowl, crack the two eggs and whisk them together with salt and black pepper until well combined.

Cooking

  1. 3

    Cook the Meats

In a skillet, heat olive oil or butter over medium heat. Add the bacon and cook until crispy, about 4-5 minutes. If using other meats, add them to the skillet and cook until browned and heated through, about 4-6 minutes.

  2. 4

    Add the Eggs

Once the meats are cooked, reduce the heat to low. Pour the whisked eggs into the skillet over the meats. Allow the eggs to sit for a few seconds before gently scrambling them with a spatula, mixing the eggs with the meats.

  3. 5

    Finish Cooking

Continue to cook the egg mixture on low heat, stirring gently until the eggs are fully cooked but still soft, about 2-3 minutes. Remove from heat.

Serving

  1. 6

    Plate the Dish

Serve the scrambled eggs with meats immediately on a plate. Optionally, garnish with fresh herbs or cheese.
