Burger Patty

Burger Assembly

Method

Preparing the Burger Patty

  1. 1

    Form the Patties

In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, salt, black pepper, and garlic powder. Mix gently until just combined. Divide the mixture into two equal portions and shape them into patties, making a slight indentation in the center of each patty.

  2. 2

    Cook the Patties

Preheat a griddle or skillet over medium-high heat. Place the patties on the hot griddle and cook for about 4-5 minutes on one side. Flip the patties and cook for an additional 4-5 minutes, or until they reach your desired level of doneness.

Assembling the Burger

  1. 3

    Prepare the Bun

While the patties are cooking, slice the burger buns in half. Optionally, toast the insides on the griddle for 1-2 minutes until golden brown.

  2. 4

    Add Toppings

On the bottom half of each bun, place a leaf of lettuce. Slice the tomato into even slices and place one slice on top of the lettuce. Once the patties are done, place one patty on each bun. Top with 1 tablespoon of special sauce on each patty.

  3. 5

    Finish the Burger

Place the top half of the bun over the sauce-covered patty. Press lightly to secure the toppings. Serve immediately.
