Prepare the Meat Mixture
In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef and ground lamb. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Mix well until fully combined.

Preheat a skillet over medium-high heat. Form the meat mixture into small patties or crumbles. Cook for about 5-7 minutes, turning occasionally until browned and cooked through.

Chop the Vegetables
While the meat is cooking, chop the romaine lettuce into bite-sized pieces, dice the tomato, and slice the red onion thinly.

Assemble the Gyro
Warm the pita bread in a dry skillet or microwave for a few seconds until soft. Layer the cooked meat, romaine lettuce, diced tomatoes, and sliced red onions onto the pita.

Drizzle tzatziki sauce over the top and sprinkle with crumbled feta cheese.
