Method

Preparation of Fish

  1. 1

    Tuna Preparation

Using a sharp knife, slice the tuna into thin, even pieces, about 0.5 cm thick. Arrange them neatly on a serving platter.

  2. 2

    Salmon Preparation

Slice the salmon in the same manner as the tuna, ensuring even thickness. Place the slices next to the tuna on the platter.

  3. 3

    Yellowtail Preparation

Cut the yellowtail into thin slices similar to the other fish. Arrange these pieces on the platter, ensuring a beautiful presentation.

  4. 4

    Octopus Preparation

Boil the octopus for about 30 minutes until tender. Allow it to cool, then slice into thin rounds. Add these rounds to the platter.

  5. 5

    Mackerel Preparation

Slice the mackerel into thin pieces, if using fresh. If using cured mackerel, simply arrange the pieces on the platter.

Final Assembly

  1. 6

    Arranging the Platter

Once all fish is prepared and arranged, fill in the gaps with microgreens for garnish. Add lemon wedges on the side for freshness.

  2. 7

    Serve with Accompaniments

Place small bowls of soy sauce, wasabi, and pickled ginger on the platter or nearby for dipping. Ensure everything is visually appealing.
