Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Shrimp

If using frozen shrimp, thaw them by placing them in a bowl of cold water for about 15-20 minutes. Once thawed, peel and devein the shrimp if necessary.

  2. 2

    Mince the Garlic

Peel the garlic cloves and finely mince them using a knife or garlic press.

  3. 3

    Heat the Pan

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil and 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat until the butter is melted and bubbly.

  4. 4

    Sauté the Garlic

Add the minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for about 1-2 minutes, stirring frequently until fragrant but not browned.

  5. 5

    Cook the Shrimp

Add the shrimp to the skillet in a single layer. Season with salt and black pepper. Cook for 2-3 minutes on one side until they turn pink, then flip and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes on the other side.

  6. 6

    Add Lemon Juice and Parsley

Once the shrimp are cooked through, add the lemon juice and the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter. Toss to coat the shrimp evenly. Sprinkle with chopped parsley for garnish.

  7. 7

    Serve

Remove from heat and serve immediately. Enjoy your garlic shrimp with crusty bread or over a bed of rice or pasta.
