Directions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Edamame

Rinse the edamame pods under cold running water to remove any dirt or impurities.

  2. 2

    Boil Water

In a large pot, bring 4 cups of water to a rolling boil over high heat.

  3. 3

    Steam the Edamame

Once the water is boiling, add the rinsed edamame pods to the pot. Cover the pot with a lid and steam for about 5-7 minutes until the pods are tender and bright green.

  4. 4

    Drain the Edamame

Using a colander, drain the edamame and allow any excess water to drip off.

  5. 5

    Season with Sea Salt

Transfer the steamed edamame to a serving bowl and sprinkle with 1 teaspoon of sea salt. Toss gently to ensure the salt is evenly distributed.

  6. 6

    Serve

Serve warm as a snack or appetizer. Enjoy the edamame by popping the beans out of the pods with your fingers.
