Omelette Base

Fillings (Choose any combination)

Method

Prepare the Omelette Base

  1. 1

    Beat the Eggs

In a mixing bowl, crack the 3 eggs and add milk, salt, and black pepper. Whisk until the mixture is well combined and slightly frothy.

  2. 2

    Prepare Fillings

Chop or slice your chosen fillings (cheddar cheese, mushrooms, bell peppers, onions, spinach, tomatoes, cooked ham, cooked bacon) into small pieces. Set aside.

Cook the Omelette

  1. 3

    Heat the Pan

Place a non-stick skillet over medium heat and lightly grease it with butter or cooking oil.

  2. 4

    Pour the Egg Mixture

Once the pan is hot, pour in the beaten egg mixture and swirl the pan gently to ensure even coverage.

  3. 5

    Add Fillings

When the eggs begin to set around the edges, sprinkle your chosen fillings on one half of the omelette.

  4. 6

    Fold the Omelette

Using a spatula, carefully fold the other half of the omelette over the fillings. Cook for an additional 1-2 minutes until fully set.

Serve

  1. 7

    Prepare the Sides

While the omelette is cooking, you can prepare the sides. If using rice, heat it in a microwave or on the stove. For homestyle potatoes, ensure they are cooked and warm.

  2. 8

    Plate the Omelette

Once cooked, carefully slide the omelette onto a plate and serve it alongside the cooked rice or homestyle potatoes.
