Crab Cakes
Spicy Aioli
Method
Crab Cakes
- 1
Mix the Crab Cake Ingredients
In a large mixing bowl, combine the lump crab meat, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, Old Bay seasoning, and salt and pepper.
- 2
Add Egg and Breadcrumbs
Gently fold in the egg and breadcrumbs until all ingredients are well incorporated. Be careful not to break up the crab meat too much.
- 3
Form the Cakes
Using your hands, form the mixture into patties, about 2-3 inches in diameter. Place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- 4
Chill the Cakes
Cover the baking sheet with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to help them hold their shape during cooking.
- 5
Cook the Crab Cakes
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Once hot, add the crab cakes and cook for 4-5 minutes on each side or until they are golden brown and heated through.
Spicy Aioli
- 6
