Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Brown the meat

In a large pot over medium heat, heat the olive oil. Add the ground beef and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes. Drain excess fat.

  2. 2

    Sauté vegetables

Add the chopped onion, minced garlic, diced carrots, and diced potatoes to the pot. Sauté for about 5 minutes until the vegetables begin to soften.

  3. 3

    Add liquids and seasonings

Stir in the beef broth, tomato paste, Worcestershire sauce, salt, black pepper, thyme, and bay leaf. Bring to a boil.

  4. 4

    Simmer

Reduce heat to low and let the mixture simmer for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.

  5. 5

    Add peas and serve

In the last 5 minutes of cooking, add the frozen peas. Remove bay leaf before serving. Enjoy your comfort food!
