Cooking Instructions
Cook the Pasta
In a large pot of salted boiling water, cook the elbow macaroni until al dente according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
Make the Cheese Sauce
In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Whisk in the flour and cook for about 1 minute. Gradually whisk in the milk, stirring constantly until the mixture thickens. Remove from heat and stir in the cheddar and parmesan cheese until melted and smooth. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
Combine Ingredients
In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked macaroni, lobster meat, and cheese sauce. Mix until evenly coated.
Prepare for Baking
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Transfer the lobster mac and cheese mixture to a greased baking dish.
Add Toppings
In a separate bowl, mix the bread crumbs with truffle oil. Sprinkle the mixture over the top of the mac and cheese.
Bake
Bake in the preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and crispy.
Serve
Remove from the oven, let it cool for a few minutes, then serve hot.
