Method

Marinating the Chicken

  1. 1

    Prepare the Marinade

In a bowl, whisk together the olive oil, lemon juice, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper.

  2. 2

    Marinate the Chicken

Place the chicken breasts in a resealable plastic bag or shallow dish and pour the marinade over them. Seal the bag or cover the dish and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, preferably 2 hours.

Grilling the Chicken

  1. 3

    Preheat the Grill

Preheat your grill to medium-high heat (about 375°F to 400°F or 190°C to 200°C).

  2. 4

    Grill the Chicken

Remove the chicken from the marinade and discard the marinade. Grill the chicken breasts for about 6-7 minutes on each side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).

  3. 5

    Rest the Chicken

Once cooked, remove the chicken from the grill and let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing.

Assembling the Sandwich

  1. 6

    Prepare the Buns

Cut the hamburger buns in half and lightly toast them on the grill for about 1-2 minutes.

  2. 7

    Build the Sandwich

Spread mayonnaise on the bottom half of each bun. Add a lettuce leaf, a slice of grilled chicken, a slice of cheese, and a slice of tomato. Top with the other half of the bun.
