Cooking Instructions
- 1
Cook the Fettuccine
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the fettuccine pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente, usually about 8-10 minutes. Drain and set aside.
- 2
Prepare the Chicken
While the pasta is cooking, season the chicken breasts with salt and black pepper. Heat olive oil in a grill pan or skillet over medium-high heat. Grill the chicken for about 6-7 minutes on each side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C). Remove from heat and allow to rest for a few minutes before slicing.
- 3
Make the Alfredo Sauce
In the same skillet, reduce the heat to medium and add minced garlic. Sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Gradually whisk in the Parmesan cheese until melted and the sauce is smooth. Season with additional salt and black pepper to taste.
- 4
Combine Everything
Add the cooked fettuccine to the skillet with Alfredo sauce. Toss until the pasta is well coated. Slice the grilled chicken and place on top of the pasta.
- 5
Garnish and Serve
Chop fresh parsley and sprinkle over the dish before serving. Enjoy your homemade Chicken Alfredo!
