Prepare the Wings

Clean the Wings
Rinse the chicken wings under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels.

Cut the Wings (Optional)
If desired, cut the wings into drumsticks and flats for easier eating.
Marinade the Wings

Mix Marinade
In a large bowl, combine olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, black pepper, and hot sauce. Mix well until combined.

Coat the Wings
Add the cleaned chicken wings to the marinade and toss until they are evenly coated.

Marinate
Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and let the wings marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes, or up to 2 hours for more flavor.
Cook the Wings

Preheat Oven
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

Arrange on Baking Sheet
Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil for easy cleanup and place a wire rack on top. Arrange the marinated wings in a single layer on the rack.

Bake the Wings
Bake the wings in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes, flipping them halfway through, until they are crispy and cooked through.

For extra crispiness, broil the wings for an additional 2-3 minutes at the end of cooking.

If desired, serve with ranch or blue cheese dressing on the side for dipping.
