Wings

Honey BBQ Sauce

Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Wings

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Pat the chicken wings dry with paper towels to remove excess moisture. This will help them crisp up during cooking.

  2. 2

    Season the Wings

In a large bowl, toss the wings with salt. If desired, add additional spices like black pepper or paprika for extra flavor.

Cooking

  1. 3

    Bake the Wings

Place the wings on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper in a single layer. Bake for 40-45 minutes, flipping halfway through, until they are crispy and golden brown.

Sauce Preparation

  1. 4

    Prepare Spicy Buffalo Sauce

In a medium saucepan over medium heat, melt the unsalted butter. Once melted, add hot sauce, garlic powder, Worcestershire sauce, and salt. Stir until well combined and heated through. Remove from heat.

  2. 5

    Prepare Honey BBQ Sauce

In a separate saucepan, combine honey, BBQ sauce, apple cider vinegar, garlic powder, and onion powder. Heat over medium heat, stirring occasionally until warm and well mixed. Remove from heat.

Coating the Wings

  1. 6

    Toss the Wings in Sauce

Once the wings are baked, remove them from the oven and place them in a large bowl. Pour the desired sauce (either Spicy Buffalo or Honey BBQ) over the wings. Toss to coat them evenly.

Serving

  1. 7

    Serve

Serve the wings hot with your favorite dipping sauces and celery sticks on the side.
