Chicken Tenders

Dipping Sauces (optional)

Method

Prepare Chicken

  1. 1

    Cut Chicken

Begin by cutting the chicken breasts into strips, about 1 inch wide.

  2. 2

    Marinate Chicken

In a bowl, combine the eggs and milk. Whisk until well mixed. Dip each chicken strip into the egg mixture and set aside.

Prepare Coating

  1. 3

    Mix Dry Ingredients

In a separate bowl, mix together the flour, cornstarch, baking powder, salt, black pepper, paprika, and garlic powder.

  2. 4

    Coat Chicken

Take each egg-coated chicken strip and dredge it in the dry mixture until completely coated. Shake off any excess.

  3. 5

    Coat with Breadcrumbs

After coating with the dry mixture, dip the chicken strips in the breadcrumbs, pressing lightly to adhere.

Cook Chicken

  1. 6

    Heat Oil

In a large skillet, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat until it shimmers.

  2. 7

    Fry Tenders

Carefully add the coated chicken strips to the hot oil in batches. Fry for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and cooked through.

  3. 8

    Drain Tenders

Once cooked, remove the tenders from the skillet and place them on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.

Serve

  1. 9

    Choose Your Sauce

Serve the chicken tenders hot with your choice of dipping sauces like ranch dressing, BBQ sauce, or honey mustard.
