Method

Prepare the Ravioli

  1. 1

    Make the Dough

In a large mixing bowl, combine the all-purpose flour and salt. Create a well in the center and add the eggs and water. Mix until the dough forms.

  2. 2

    Knead the Dough

Transfer the dough to a floured surface and knead for about 5 minutes until smooth and elastic. Cover with a damp cloth and let it rest for 30 minutes.

  3. 3

    Roll out the Dough

After resting, divide the dough into quarters. Roll out each piece as thinly as possible using a rolling pin or pasta machine.

  4. 4

    Fill the Ravioli

Place a teaspoon of beef filling on the rolled dough, spacing them about 1 inch apart. Use a pastry brush to moisten the edges with water, then fold and seal the ravioli.

Breading the Ravioli

  1. 5

    Prepare the Breading Mixture

In a bowl, mix together the breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, and black pepper until well combined.

  2. 6

    Coat the Ravioli

Dip each ravioli into the breadcrumb mixture, ensuring they are fully coated. Set aside on a plate.

Frying the Ravioli

  1. 7

    Heat the Oil

In a deep skillet or frying pan, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat until it reaches 350°F (175°C).

  2. 8

    Fry the Ravioli

Carefully add the coated ravioli to the hot oil in batches. Fry until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes, then remove and drain on paper towels.

Serving

  1. 9

    Serve with Marinara Sauce

Arrange the toasted ravioli on a serving platter. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve with marinara sauce on the side for dipping.
