Method
Pulled Pork Preparation
- 1
Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C).
- 2
Prepare the Pork
Rub the pork shoulder with olive oil, salt, black pepper, paprika, garlic powder, and onion powder. Ensure the pork is evenly coated.
- 3
Roast the Pork
Place the seasoned pork shoulder in a roasting pan. Cover it with aluminum foil and roast in the preheated oven for about 4-5 hours, or until the pork is tender and easily shredded.
- 4
Shred the Pork
Once the pork is cooked, remove it from the oven. Let it rest for 15 minutes, then shred the pork using two forks.
- 5
Mix with BBQ Sauce
In a large bowl, combine the shredded pork with the BBQ sauce, mixing until well coated.
Wrap Assembly
- 6
Prepare Tortilla Wraps
Lay out the tortilla wraps on a clean surface.
- 7
Add Pulled Pork
Spoon a generous portion of the pulled pork mixture onto the center of each tortilla.
- 8
Add Cheese and Toppings
Sprinkle cheddar jack cheese over the pulled pork, then add fresh cilantro and pickles to taste.
- 9
Wrap it Up
Fold the sides of the tortilla inwards, then roll from the bottom up to form a wrap.
- 10
Serve
Cut the wraps in half if desired and serve immediately with extra BBQ sauce on the side.
