Burger Assembly

Method

Prepare Burger Patty

  1. 1

    Form the Patty

In a bowl, combine ground beef, salt, black pepper, and garlic powder. Mix gently and form into a patty about 1 inch thick.

  2. 2

    Cook the Patty

Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the patty for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until it reaches your desired doneness.

Sauté Mushrooms

  1. 3

    Heat Oil

In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.

  2. 4

    Cook Onions and Mushrooms

Add sliced onions and cook for 2-3 minutes until they become translucent. Add sliced mushrooms, salt, and pepper. Sauté for 5-7 minutes until mushrooms are golden and tender.

  3. 5

    Add Butter

Add butter to the skillet and stir until melted and evenly mixed with the mushrooms.

Assemble Burger

  1. 6

    Melt Cheese

Place the cooked burger patty on the skillet and top with a slice of Swiss cheese. Cover for 1-2 minutes until the cheese melts.

  2. 7

    Build the Burger

On the bottom half of the bun, place a lettuce leaf, followed by the melted cheese burger patty, sautéed mushrooms, and tomato slices. Add ketchup and mustard to taste, then cap with the top half of the bun.
