Main Ingredients

Method

Preparation

1

Cook the Pasta

In a large pot of salted boiling water, cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

2

Make the Cheese Sauce

In a medium saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter. Once melted, whisk in the flour and cook for about 1 minute until it forms a paste.

3

Add Cream and Spices

Slowly add the heavy cream to the butter and flour mixture while continuously whisking to avoid lumps. Add garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper, and continue to whisk until the sauce thickens, about 5 minutes.

4

Incorporate Cheeses

Reduce heat to low and stir in the mozzarella and provolone cheeses until melted and smooth. Remove from heat.

5

Combine Pasta and Sauce

Add the cooked pasta to the cheese sauce and mix until well combined.

Baking

6

Prepare for Baking

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a baking dish with butter or cooking spray.

7

Add to Baking Dish

Transfer the mac and cheese mixture into the prepared baking dish, spreading it evenly.

8

Add Breadcrumbs

Sprinkle the breadcrumbs evenly over the top of the mac and cheese.

9

Bake

Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until the top is golden brown and crispy.

10

Garnish and Serve

Once baked, remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
