Method

Meatball Preparation

  1. 1

    Preheat Oven

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

  2. 2

    Mix Ingredients

In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, ground pork, breadcrumbs, eggs, minced garlic, chopped onion, chopped parsley, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.

  3. 3

    Form Meatballs

Using your hands, shape the mixture into 1-inch meatballs and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

  4. 4

    Bake Meatballs

Bake the meatballs in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until they are browned and cooked through.

Marsala Sauce Preparation

  1. 5

    Sauté Mushrooms

In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced mushrooms and sauté until they are golden brown, about 5-7 minutes.

  2. 6

    Add Wine and Broth

Pour in the Marsala wine and beef broth. Bring the mixture to a simmer and cook for about 10 minutes, allowing the sauce to reduce slightly.

  3. 7

    Add Sour Cream

Reduce the heat to low and stir in the sour cream until well blended. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.

  4. 8

    Combine Meatballs and Sauce

Once the meatballs are done baking, add them to the skillet with the sauce. Stir gently to coat the meatballs in the sauce and heat through for about 5 minutes.
