Marinate the Chicken
In a bowl, combine olive oil, salt, black pepper, and garlic powder. Add the chicken breast and coat it evenly with the marinade. Let it marinate for at least 30 minutes.

Grill or Bread the Chicken
For grilled chicken: Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Grill the chicken breast for 6-8 minutes on each side or until fully cooked (internal temperature of 165°F). For breaded chicken: Dredge the marinated chicken in breadcrumbs and fry in a pan with oil over medium heat for about 5-7 minutes on each side until golden brown.

Add Sauce
Once cooked, toss the grilled or breaded chicken in your choice of Buffalo sauce or BBQ sauce until well coated.

Prepare the Bun
Slice the split top bun in half and lightly toast it if desired.

Assemble the Sandwich
Layer the lettuce on the bottom half of the bun, followed by the chicken, tomato slices, onion slices, and pickles. Top with the other half of the bun.

Serve the sandwich warm and enjoy with your favorite side.
