Toast the Texas Bread
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Place the slices of Texas toast on a baking sheet and toast them in the oven for about 5-7 minutes until golden brown.

Cook the French Fries
While the toast is baking, prepare the crinkle cut French fries according to package instructions, either in the oven or in a deep fryer until crispy.
Dublin Cheese Sauce

Add Milk
Gradually whisk in the milk until smooth. Continue to cook, stirring frequently, until the mixture thickens, about 5 minutes.

Add Cheese and Seasonings
Reduce the heat to low, then add the shredded cheddar cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Stir until the cheese is fully melted and the sauce is smooth.

Layer the Base
On each slice of toasted Texas toast, layer your choice of meat (cooked bacon, sautéed mushrooms, or grilled chicken).

Top with Fries
On top of the meat or vegetables, generously heap the crispy crinkle cut French fries.

Drizzle the homemade Dublin cheese sauce over the fries and toppings until thoroughly covered.
