Burger Patty

Burger Assembly

Method

Prepare the Burger Patty

  1. 1

    Mix the Ingredients

In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Mix thoroughly but do not overwork the meat.

  2. 2

    Form the Patties

Divide the mixture into two equal portions and shape them into round patties, about 3/4 inch thick.

  3. 3

    Preheat the Grill

Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. You can also use a grill pan on the stovetop.

  4. 4

    Grill the Patties

Place the patties on the grill and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium doneness, or until they reach your desired level of doneness.

Assemble the Burger

  1. 5

    Toast the Buns

While the patties are grilling, split the burger buns and toast them on the grill or in a toaster until golden brown.

  2. 6

    Prepare the Vegetables

Slice the tomato and onion into thin rings. Rinse the lettuce leaves and pat them dry.

  3. 7

    Build the Burger

On the bottom half of the toasted bun, place a lettuce leaf, followed by the grilled patty, tomato slices, onion rings, ketchup, and mustard. Top with the other half of the bun.

  4. 8

    Serve

Serve immediately while hot with your favorite sides.
