Breaded Shrimp

Method

Breaded Shrimp

  1. 1

    Prepare the shrimp

Rinse the shrimp under cold water and pat dry with paper towels.

  2. 2

    Set up the breading station

In three separate shallow bowls, place the flour, beaten eggs, and breadcrumbs mixed with garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.

  3. 3

    Bread the shrimp

Coat each shrimp first in flour, then dip in the egg, and finally coat with the breadcrumb mixture. Place breaded shrimp on a plate.

  4. 4

    Fry the shrimp

In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Fry the shrimp in batches until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes per side. Remove and drain on paper towels.

Lasagna

  1. 5

    Preheat the oven

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

  2. 6

    Cook the noodles

In a large pot, bring water to a boil and cook the lasagna noodles according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

  3. 7

    Cook the meat sauce

In a skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium heat. Add chopped onion and minced garlic, sauté until soft. Add ground beef, cook until browned. Stir in the homemade meat sauce and let simmer for 10 minutes.

  4. 8

    Assemble the lasagna

In a baking dish, spread a layer of meat sauce, then a layer of noodles, followed by mozzarella cheese. Repeat the layers, finishing with meat sauce on top. Sprinkle with remaining mozzarella and Provel cheese.

  5. 9

    Bake the lasagna

Cover the baking dish with foil and bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
