Ice Cream Base and Swirls

Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Make the Ice Cream Base

In a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese and granulated sugar. Beat until smooth and creamy.

  2. 2

    Add Liquids

Slowly add heavy cream, whole milk, vanilla extract, and salt to the mixture, beating until well combined.

  3. 3

    Chill the Mixture

Cover the bowl and refrigerate the ice cream base for at least 2 hours or until completely chilled.

  4. 4

    Churn the Ice Cream

Pour the chilled mixture into an ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer's instructions until it reaches a soft-serve consistency.

  5. 5

    Add Swirls

Transfer half of the churned ice cream to a freezer-safe container. Swirl in half of the browned butter, cracked caramel, and peach jam. Repeat with the remaining ice cream and toppings.

  6. 6

    Freeze

Cover the container and freeze for at least 4 hours or until firm.
