Buffalo Chicken Sandwich Ingredients
Method
Buffalo Chicken Sandwich Preparation
- 1
Prepare the Chicken
In a bowl, combine buttermilk, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Add the chicken breasts and marinate for at least 30 minutes.
- 2
Prepare the Breading
In a separate bowl, mix together the all-purpose flour and cornstarch. Remove chicken from the marinade and dredge in the flour mixture, ensuring it's well coated.
- 3
Fry the Chicken
Heat vegetable oil in a deep skillet over medium-high heat. Fry the chicken breasts until golden brown and cooked through, about 6-8 minutes per side. Remove and drain on paper towels.
- 4
Prepare the Buffalo Sauce
Toss the fried chicken in buffalo sauce until evenly coated.
- 5
Make the Rainbow Slaw
In a bowl, combine shredded cabbage, shredded carrots, mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, sugar, and mix well. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- 6
Prepare the Spread
In a small bowl, mix together blue cheese and boursin cheese to create a creamy spread.
- 7
Assemble the Sandwich
Spread the blue cheese-boursin mixture on the burger buns. Place the buffalo chicken on top, followed by dill pickle slices and a generous scoop of rainbow slaw. Top with the other half of the bun.
