    Cook the Linguine

    In a large pot of salted boiling water, cook the linguine according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

    Sauté Calamari

    In a large skillet, heat the olive oil and 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.

    Add Calamari

    Add the calamari rings and tentacles to the skillet. Cook for 2-3 minutes until they are just opaque.

    Make the Scampi Sauce

    Pour in the dry white wine, lemon juice, and red pepper flakes. Season with salt and black pepper. Allow the sauce to simmer for about 5 minutes.

    Combine Linguine and Sauce

    Add the cooked linguine to the skillet, tossing to coat the pasta in the scampi sauce. Stir in the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter until melted.
