Preparing the Tea

Boil Water
In a saucepan, bring 4 cups of water to a boil over medium-high heat.

Steep Tea
Once the water is boiling, remove it from heat and add the 4 black tea bags. Allow the tea to steep for 5-7 minutes, depending on how strong you want the flavor.

Remove Tea Bags
After steeping, remove the tea bags and discard them.
Sweetening the Tea

If you prefer your iced tea sweetened, stir in 1 cup of granulated sugar while the tea is still warm. Mix until fully dissolved.

Chilling the Tea
