Grilled Cheese Sandwich

Method

Grilled Cheese Sandwich

  1. 1

    Prepare the Bread

Take 4 slices of bread and lay them out on a clean surface.

  2. 2

    Butter the Bread

Spread 1 tablespoon of butter on one side of each slice of bread. This will help to create a golden, crispy crust when grilled.

  3. 3

    Add Cheese

Place 2 slices of cheddar cheese between 2 slices of bread with the buttered side facing out.

  4. 4

    Grill the Sandwich

Heat a skillet over medium heat. Place the sandwich in the skillet and grill for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until the bread is golden brown and the cheese is melted.

  5. 5

    Remove and Slice

Once grilled, remove the sandwich from the skillet and let it sit for a minute before slicing it in half.

Fries

  1. 6

    Preheat Oven

Preheat your oven to the temperature specified on the frozen fries package, typically around 425°F (220°C).

  2. 7

    Prepare Fries

Spread 2 cups of frozen French fries on a baking sheet. Drizzle with 1 tablespoon of olive oil and sprinkle with 1 teaspoon of salt. Toss to coat evenly.

  3. 8

    Bake the Fries

Place the baking sheet in the oven and bake according to the package instructions, usually around 20-25 minutes, flipping halfway through until they are golden brown and crispy.

  4. 9

    Serve

Once the fries are cooked, remove them from the oven and serve alongside the grilled cheese sandwich.
