Method

Preparing the Cheeseburger

  1. 1

    Forming the Patties

In a bowl, season the ground beef with salt and black pepper to taste. Divide the meat into two equal portions and shape them into burger patties about ¾ inch thick.

  2. 2

    Cooking the Patties

Heat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the burger patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until desired doneness is reached. In the last minute of cooking, place a slice of cheddar cheese on each patty to melt.

  3. 3

    Toasting the Buns

While the burgers are cooking, you can toast the burger buns on a separate skillet or grill until they are golden brown.

  4. 4

    Assembling the Burger

On the bottom half of each toasted bun, place a lettuce leaf, followed by the cooked burger patty with melted cheese. Top with tomato slices, pickles, ketchup, and mustard. Finally, place the top half of the bun on the assembled burger.

Preparing the Fries

  1. 5

    Cooking the Fries

Preheat your oven according to the package instructions for the frozen French fries. Spread the fries on a baking sheet and drizzle with vegetable oil. Toss to coat evenly.

  2. 6

    Baking the Fries

Bake the fries in the preheated oven for about 20-25 minutes, or until they are crispy and golden brown. Season with salt to taste once removed from the oven.
