Brewing Instructions

  1. 1

    Step 1: Boil Water

Bring filtered water to a boil in a kettle. Let it cool for about 30 seconds after boiling.

  2. 2

    Step 2: Prepare Coffee Grounds

Measure out the single origin coffee beans and grind them to a medium-coarse consistency.

  3. 3

Step 3: Set Up Pour Over

Place your pour-over brewer (like a V60 or Chemex) on top of a mug or carafe and insert a filter. Rinse the filter with hot water to eliminate any paper taste and preheat the brewer.

  4. 4

    Step 4: Add Coffee Grounds

Add the ground coffee to the filter, leveling it out to ensure even extraction.

  5. 5

    Step 5: Start Brewing

Slowly pour a small amount of hot water over the coffee grounds to allow them to bloom for about 30 seconds. Then, continue pouring in a circular motion to evenly saturate the grounds, using the remaining water.

  6. 6

    Step 6: Let It Drip

Allow the coffee to drip through the filter completely. This should take about 2-4 minutes.

  7. 7

    Step 7: Serve

Remove the brewer, discard the grounds, and enjoy your freshly brewed single origin coffee.
