Chicken Tenders
Method
Preparation
- 1
Prepare the Chicken
Cut the chicken breast into strips. Season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
- 2
Make the Batter
In a large bowl, mix together the flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually whisk in the Irish stout beer until smooth.
- 3
Heat the Oil
In a deep skillet or fryer, heat the oil over medium-high heat until it reaches 350°F (175°C).
- 4
Fry the Chicken
Dip each chicken strip into the batter and carefully place it into the hot oil. Fry in batches until golden brown and cooked through, about 4-5 minutes per batch.
- 5
Drain and Serve
Remove the chicken tenders from the oil and drain on paper towels. Serve hot with fries and Tiger Sauce.
