Method
Chicken Preparation
- 1
Season the Chicken
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Pat the chicken breasts dry with paper towels. Drizzle olive oil over the chicken and season both sides with salt, black pepper, and garlic powder.
- 2
Sear the Chicken
In a large oven-safe skillet, heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the chicken breasts and sear for about 5-7 minutes on each side until golden brown. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
Creamy Parmesan Sauce
- 3
Make the Sauce
In the same skillet, melt 4 tablespoons of butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Stir in grated Parmesan cheese and Italian seasoning until smooth. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Combine Chicken and Sauce
Return the seared chicken breasts to the skillet, spooning the creamy sauce over the top. Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 25-30 minutes until the chicken is cooked through and the sauce is bubbly.
