Cook the Chops
Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the seasoned pork chops and sear for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until they reach an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C). Remove from heat and let them rest for 5 minutes before serving.
Bourbon Apple Compote

Cook the Apples
In a medium saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the diced apples, brown sugar, bourbon, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Stir well to combine.

Simmer the Compote
Cook for about 10-12 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the apples are tender and the mixture has thickened slightly. Remove from heat and set aside.

Sauté the Garlic
In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.

Add the chopped collard greens to the skillet along with vegetable broth, salt, and black pepper. Cook for about 10-15 minutes until the greens are tender.
